Please allow me to reintroduce myself. I was born in Jamestown, NY. I’m an 80s baby that grew up on EPMD, Public Enemy, and the Beastie Boys. Soundgarden, Van Morrison, Bob Dylan, you name it.  I’ve lived up and down the East Coast, drove a lot of German cars, and generally had a good time. I have an autobiography that’s partly done, I should really work on that. Someday.

The name Callinan, however, in Ireland is derived from the native Gaelic Sept O’Callanain who where physicians to the MacCarthys. The main Septs were located in the Counties of Cork, Kerry and Galway and it is here that the majority of descendants can still be found. Knowledge baby.

I’ve been online for a long time, since email addresses looked like something! that! was! horribly! hard!to! read! , and I conntected to a local BBS at 14.4 kbps, then connected to the Internet through the BBS’s connection to ICENet (which I believe is gone now). I used to end up with several hundred dollars a month in phone bills.  I started with an IBm XT with and 8088, 640K of RAM, 2 5 1/4 inch floppies, and a 20MB hard drive that my uncle and I made a wooden case for. Hardcore.

I wear a couple of hats:

- I’m co-owner and co-founder of protocol 80, a web design, web marketing, and SEO firm.

- I’m also co-owner and co-founder of Omnis Technologies, a IT programming, support and networking firm.

- I’m owner of Tortugas West Texas Bar & Grill, a Tex-mex, Southern and American restaurant/bar/venue.

- I am an instructor at the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford. I teach Computer Science / MIS / CIST courses, like Android Programming, Multimedia Applications, Networking, and the like.

- I’m owner of tblurts.com, a website that sells t-shirts and other stuff.

- I’m co-founder of Syncrate, LLC, a startup that is attempting to learn about incorporating metabolic actions and mobile.

- I’m owner of some other websites:

If you are looking for help in business development, IT development, financing, design, just about anything involving small business development, I’ve probably done it once or twice. Contact me and I can help you out.
